Voter Registration
You may register to vote by using the form available
at the top of this page and mailing the completed form to the auditor's office or
by visiting the auditor's office on the 2nd floor of the Miner County Courthouse.
Voter Registration deadline is 15 days prior to any election.
Absentee Voting
Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots are available for primary and general elections six weeks prior to the election.
To receive a ballot by mail, a voter must file a written application with the auditor. The application must be filled in and mailed or hand delivered to the auditor's office allowing sufficient time for the ballot to be mailed to the voter and the voted ballot to be returned to the Auditor's office by 3:00 p.m. on election day. The application may NOT be faxed. Exception:
Uniformed and overseas citizens may submit an application or request for absentee ballot by fax or emailed image to the person in charge of the election. Absentee ballot requests from overseas citizens need not be notarized.
