and their duties
  • AUDITOR - Elections, voter registration, commissioners' meeting agenda, commissioner minutes, keeper of records, prepares county budget, calculates property tax levies, apportions taxes to proper entities, processes indigent health care & poor relief assistance applications,  and prepares the county's annual report.   Miner County Ambulance billings are also handled through this office.
  • TREASURER - Property tax collection, vehicle licensing & registration, Game Fish & Parks licensing.
  • REGISTER OF DEEDS - Recording of legal documents and transfer of title to property, issuance of marriage licenses, birth & death certificates, records county poor, mechanic, federal tax, & hospital liens
  • DIRECTOR OF EQUALIZATION - Assessor of real estate property, serves as Zoning Administrator, issues building permits.
  • SHERIFF - Provides law enforcement, dispatching services.
  • COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICE - WIC
