Welcome to the Miner County Register of Deeds Office. This office has a wealth of information. We are the primary record-keeper for the county and an excellent source for genealogy information, vital statistics and land title records.
Primary Functions of the Register of Deed's office:

Recording of real estate documents-Plats, deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, assignments and miscellaneous recordings.

Issue copies of Birth, Death, and Marriage records. (Certified copies are $15.00 each.)
Vital Records forms are available at the SD Department of Health in Pierre, SD. Our birth and death records start at 1905. Marriage records start at 1897.

Issue marriage licenses-Cost is $40.00 and is valid for 20 days
