The Miner County Director of Equalization office wants to remind anyone with total loss or damage to structures to please contact us.  We will need documentation regarding your loss, so that we can assist you with the tax abatement process for taxes payable in 2023.  Please remember to contact us prior to rebuilding any structure(s) that you have lost as building permits and variances where applicable are still required.  If you need a recent aerial photo of your property or farm site to assist you with your insurance claims or for any other need, we had a flyover of Miner County in late March 2022.  We can print/mail/email these site photos for you.  605-772-4241 or minercodoe@minercountysd.org.
